Getting Started with Ciphrix
This guide will help you access and start using the Ciphrix platform.
Accessing Ciphrix
The Ciphrix application is available at:
For New Users
If you're a new user, you'll receive a welcome email containing your temporary credentials.
Step 1: Check Your Email
Look for a welcome email from Ciphrix containing:
- Your username
- Temporary password
- Link to access the platform
Step 2: Initial Login
- Go to ciphrix.app
- Enter your username
- Enter the temporary password from your welcome email
- Click Sign In
Step 3: Set Up Your New Password
On first login, you'll be prompted to change your password:
- Create a new strong password that meets these requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
- Confirm your new password
- Click Update Password
Step 4: Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
After setting your new password, you'll be prompted to configure MFA:

Open your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
- Any TOTP-compatible authenticator

Scan the QR code displayed on screen with your authenticator app

Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app

Click Verify and Enable MFA
Step 5: Complete Setup
Once MFA is configured, your account setup is complete! You can now access the Ciphrix platform.
For Existing Users
Standard Login Process

Go to ciphrix.app

Enter your username
-
Enter your password
-
Click Sign In
-
When prompted, enter the 6-digit MFA code from your authenticator app

Click Verify
You'll now be logged into your Ciphrix dashboard.
Getting Access to Ciphrix
New Customers - Organization Administrator
If your organization has just signed up for Ciphrix:

Contact our support team at support@ciphrix.com

We'll schedule your kick-off and onboarding call where we will:
- Set up your organization
- Help configure initial settings & AI Discovery profile
- Provide overview and guidance on where to start
- Answer your questions

You'll receive your welcome email with credentials before the onboarding call
Organization Members
If you're joining an existing Ciphrix organization:

Contact your organization administrator to request access

Your admin will create your user account

You'll receive a welcome email with your temporary credentials

Follow the New User setup steps above
After Login
Once you're logged in, you can:
1. Explore the Dashboard
- View compliance status
- Check recent activity
- Review pending tasks
3. Choose Your Framework
Select the compliance framework(s) you want to achieve:
- SOC 2 Type I/II
- ISO 27001 (ISMS)
- ISO 42001 (AISMS)
- HIPAA
- GDPR
- DPDP
- APP
- PCI-DSS
- FedRAMP
- NIS2
- Custom frameworks
4. Connect Your Infrastructure
Set up integrations to enable automatic evidence collection. See our Integrations guide.
5. Invite Team Members
Add your team to collaborate on compliance tasks (Admin/Infosec users only).
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive my welcome email
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify with your admin that the email address is correct
- Contact support@ciphrix.com for assistance
I forgot my password
- Click Forgot Password on the login page
- Enter your username or email
- Check your email for password reset instructions
- Follow the link to create a new password
I lost access to my MFA device
Contact support@ciphrix.com with:
- Your username
- Organization name
- Verification of your identity
Our support team will help you regain access to your account.
MFA code not working
- Ensure your device time is synchronized correctly
- Wait for the next code generation cycle
- Try entering the code immediately after it appears
- Check that you're using the correct account in your authenticator app
